Oprah for Senate?

(CNN) -- Impeachment proceedings against Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich are scheduled to begin Monday in the state Senate, but the embattled governor is expected to skip the trial and instead appear on several television programs.

Blagojevich is facing federal corruption allegations, including trying to trade or sell the Senate seat that became vacant after Barack Obama was elected president.

The second-term Democratic governor has denied wrongdoing.

In his first live prime-time interview, Blagojevich will appear Monday on CNN's "Larry King Live."

He spoke with ABC's "Good Morning America" on Monday morning and was scheduled to appear with his wife later Monday on ABC's "The View."

On "Good Morning America," Blagojevich said he considered appointing Oprah Winfrey as Obama's Senate replacement.

"She seemed to be someone who had helped Barack Obama in a significant way become president," he said. "She was obviously someone with a much broader bully pulpit than other senators."

Mr West is at it again, with this Louis Vuitton sneaker. It doesn't do much for my personal taste, but I'm sure there is someone out there thats madly in love with them. I can't knock dude's creativity though. The sneaker seems to speak to the Hypebeasts, and the High Fashion heads out there with its loud colorway and Louisesque cut. I prefer the Air Yeezys though.

Yes our president is black, but the battle against mental slavery has just begun. No one man can change the world. But all it takes is one person to help us see that change begins from within.

Week in Review (Part1)

Notorious was actually a pretty decent movie. Besides the absence of a lot of a few of the great New York personalities of the 90's (Jay-z, Nas, FunkMaster Flex, Angie Martinez, etc etc...) it was iite. They did a pretty good job of capturing the growth of one of the greatest MC's ever. While at the same time giving the audience and entertaining experience with exceptional Hip Hop scoring.

A few things that could have been worked on more were, Diddy ( he shoulda played himself ), Pac (that guy wasn't Pac....I didnt believe it), and Angela Basset coulda upped the Jamaican accent.

Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li

Sry, about the missed day, it was the first day back and school, and you now how that goes.



This one is for all the SNES-heads. I was actually pretty excited to hear about the Street Fighter movie. Hopefully, this will serve as some sort of redemption for the brand after the first mediocre Street Fighter movie. This one seems to center around Chun-Li (yup-yupyupyupyupyupyupyupyupyupyupyupyupyup)...lol. I'm not too sure if this movie will feature all of our favorite characters, but hey the special effects should be on point...its 2009.

This movie better be hot. The trailer seems, slightly cheesy. I haven't heard of half of the actors before,...I think Angela Basset is the biggest name in the movie. Oh well, what can I do? Its not like I'm not gonna watch it... But just don't be disappointed if its ass-trash-whack.


I read some stuff about Lil' Kim being pissed-off about her depiction in the movie. That could only mean one thing,...lma0. I guess that should be fun to watch. Also, keep an eye out for a Howard Homecoming' scene. ((Ofcourse it wouldn't have been shot at Howard Homecommin'.)) But it was something that BIG did. I couldn't see why it wouldn't make it into the film.


I honestly can't wait to see the flick. I got the date marked off on my calendar. Now all I need is a Coogi sweater and I'll be g00d money.

Air Jordan 2009

These are the first pair of Jordan's outside of the brand's 1-23 series. If you weren't paying attention, the last few Jordan releases weren't the most stylish of kicks, and the brand seems to be continuing the trend. Ofcourse, Jordan Brand has blessed our sole's with some classic kicks (ie 11-13s), but it seems to be the end of an era with this brand of sneaker, who now have changed their focus from style, to strictly performance.
Personally I'd like to see JB continue to make classic, while at the same time branching into the performance aspect. Then everyone's happy, right?
